GI Shield / Thyroid Formula
Gut Barrier Repair and Autoimmune Thyroid Support | L-Glutamine, D-Ribose, and Concentrated Acemannan | 1 Scoop

The gut and the thyroid are more connected than most people realize. Around 70% of your immune system lives in the lining of your gut, and when that barrier becomes inflamed or permeable, the immune system can lose its ability to tell friend from foe. For many patients, this is where autoimmune thyroid disease begins. GI Shield / Thyroid Formula works at that root: it rebuilds the gut barrier, calms the gut-driven immune response, and delivers a concentrated aloe complex with published clinical research showing reduced thyroid antibodies in Hashimoto's.

❌ Bloating, leaky gut, food sensitivities, and gut-driven inflammation
❌ Elevated thyroid antibodies (TPOAb) and Hashimoto's-pattern autoimmunity
❌ Low energy tied to poor gut function and thyroid efficiency
❌ A compromised gut lining from stress, medications, gluten, or infection
❌ Immune dysregulation rooted in the gut, where most immunity lives

This formula addresses the upstream cause, not just the symptoms.

What's Inside (and Why It Matters)

L-Glutamine, 1890mg per scoop is the primary fuel for the enterocytes that line your gut and maintain its tight junctions. A leaky, permeable barrier is now understood as a precondition for autoimmunity: when antigens cross a damaged gut wall, they drive immune activation that, through molecular mimicry, can turn the immune system against the thyroid. By sealing and restoring the barrier, glutamine reduces that antigenic load at the source. It is one of the most evidence-supported tools for repairing intestinal permeability.

D-Ribose, 1400mg per scoop is a five-carbon sugar at the core of ATP, your cellular energy currency. Healing tissue is metabolically expensive, and D-ribose supplies the energy the rapidly regenerating gut lining needs to repair, while supporting overall energy in patients whose fatigue is driven by both gut and thyroid dysfunction.

Triple-Concentrated Aloe Vera Complex (Acemannan / BiAloe) is the centerpiece, and it carries the most interesting clinical story. It layers a 100:1 whole-leaf extract (equivalent to 68,000mg of aloe), a 200:1 whole-leaf extract (equivalent to 118,000mg of aloe), and 165mg of Organic BiAloe inner-leaf 200:1 extract. The active compound, acemannan, is a glyconutrient that supports cell signaling, modulates inflammation, soothes the digestive tract, and provides a full spectrum of glycoproteins. BiAloe is a standardized, stabilized acemannan source designed to preserve the fragile bioactive molecules that ordinary aloe processing destroys.

The Clinical Research: Aloe and Hashimoto's TPO Antibodies

The thyroid connection is not theoretical. In a published 9-month clinical trial, 30 women with Hashimoto's-related subclinical hypothyroidism took aloe barbadensis juice daily, with no thyroid medication and no other supplements. The results were striking:

TPO antibodies (TPOAb) dropped by approximately 56% over the 9 months, with significant reductions appearing as early as month 3.
TSH fell by approximately 61% and free T4 rose by approximately 23%.
✅ At the start, 100% of the women were subclinically hypothyroid (TSH above 4.0). By 9 months, none were, with thyroid function returning to the normal range.
✅ The proportion of women with very high antibody levels (TPOAb above 400 U/ml) fell from 100% at baseline to 37%.
✅ A separate group of 15 untreated women, followed over the same period, showed no comparable improvement.

A follow-up laboratory study found that aloe vera appears to exert a TSH-like regulatory effect on thyroid cells through the TPO and PKA signaling pathways, offering a plausible mechanism for these clinical findings.

Other Ingredients: Bamboo fiber, natural citrus flavor, and stevia extract. No artificial colors, no dyes, no sugar, no artificial sweeteners. Clean enough for sensitive patients.

How to Use: Mix 1 scoop (approximately 5.65g) into water or any beverage daily, or as directed by your healthcare practitioner. Best taken on an empty stomach in the morning to maximize contact with the gut lining, mirroring the protocol used in the published thyroid research. For active gut-repair or autoimmune protocols, your clinician may adjust dosing. 30 servings per 170g container.

GI Shield / Thyroid Formula is a true root-cause tool. Heal the gut barrier, lower the antigenic load, calm the immune attack, and support the thyroid from the inside out. For patients with Hashimoto's, elevated TPO antibodies, leaky gut, or gut-driven inflammation, this addresses the connection most protocols miss.
